WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LIMITED EDITION SILKSCREEN PRINT AND A GICLÉE PRINT?
My limited edition silkscreen prints are pulled by hand using traditional methods in my studio in Kew Gardens, South West London. The design is exposed on a silkscreen in the dark room, ink colours are mixed by hand and the ink is then pulled through the fine mesh through the screen and onto the paper. Each print is signed in pencil on the print by me, Luzelle van der Westhuizen, dated and numbered. If the print is the 5th of limited edition of 50, it will be signed as 5/50.

Mengsel giclée prints are printed in London, UK with a digital technique using archival quality inks on fine art paper. The print will not have my original name signature, date or number on it, but will have the Mengsel logo in the bottom righthand corner. Some of my original screen printed artwork and personalised prints are available as giclée prints.
PAYMENT
Payment are via Paypal and if payment has not been received after 3 days of placing an order, the order will be cancelled. Paypal is a very convenient and straight forward payment option, but please don't hesitate to contact me if you are having problems with payment.
SHIPPING
All items are shipped from London with the UK's Royal Mail, a very dependable service. I ship to any country in the world for a standard fee and all silkscreen prints are sent first class and signed for on delivery. They are not trackable though, but the required signature makes it very safe and trustworthy. Textiles are sent first class with Royal Mail.
UK and Europe delivery time: usually within 2-4 days
Rest of the world delivery time: usually within 4- 7 days
If items are not delivered within two weeks of shipping for international destinations, please contact me and I will arrange for another item to be sent as a replacement.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
If an item is not up to the expected quality, it can be returned for a refund. I will need an explanation or pictures to describe the imperfections (I aim to send all my products as near to perfection as possible!) As soon as I have received the item back, I will refund the cost of the item to the buyer's Paypal account.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
